Muscatine, Iowa Katherine M. Ritchie, 75, died Monday October 14, 2013 at her home in Muscatine. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Thursday October 17, 2013 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, West Liberty. Pallbearers will be Knight Wagner, Eric Wagner, Justin Ford, Darran Ritchie, Aaron Lake-Garcia and Jason Friend. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cooper Ritchie and Paul Ott. Katherine was born September 27, 1938 in Washington, Iowa the daughter of Leonard and Louise Luman Wheatley. She was a graduate of Washington High School. She had owned and operated Kathy’s Upholstery for many years in Muscatine and enjoyed sewing, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and telling stories about raising her rather large family. Survivors include six children: Kurt Wagner, Kirby (Tina) Wagner, Carolyn (John) Ford, Mike (Allison) Ritchie, Lenny Ritchie and David Ritchie all living in Muscatine. 10 grandchildren Knight, Stephanie, Eric, Justin, Kasey, Nikki, Frankie, Darran, Shelby and Cooper and seven great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, and Brother Tom Wheatley.
