Life Legacy West Liberty, Iowa Larry E. Campbell, 72, of Parker, Colorado passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at his home in Parker. Family graveside services were held Wednesday November 2, 2016 at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in West Liberty. A memorial fund has been established. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.hendersonbarkerfuneralhome.com. Larry was born August 17, 1944 in Carbondale, Colorado the son of Oran and Mabel (Williams) Campbell. He was a veteran serving in Vietnam for 4 years and was a Navy SEAL. He was united in marriage to Iva Hood and she passed away in 2006, he later married Carol Olsen Dewar in 2013. Larry was employed as a Denver Police Officer for many years. He loved wood and working with it, studying the Bible and Gods word and listening to hymns. Larry is loving remembered by his wife Carol Olsen Dewar Campbell of Parker, Colorado, two children: Rene (Cecil) Maas of Delta, Colorado and Dallas (Michelle) Campbell of Centennial, Colorado, step children: Tim Dewar of Atalissa, Iowa and Scott Dewar of Highlands Ranch, Colorado. 3 grandchildren: Ashley (Danny) McCain of Delta, Colorado, Amy (Niel) Halverson of Fort Bragg, North Carolina and Rae Dawn Loy of Montrose, Colorado, 5 great grandchildren, brother: Carl Campbell of Green River, Wyoming and sister: Davine Pera of Telluride, Colorado. Numerous nieces and nephews as well as his special and faithful friend Laddie his dog. He was preceded in death by his parents and a great grandson Jesse Dorsch.
