Life Legacy West Liberty, Iowa Ernest Howard "Big E" Griffin, 60, passed away peacefully at his home in West Liberty. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 1 to 4 P.M. at the American Legion in West Liberty. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is in charge of arrangements. In his early years was a semi truck driver, worked in construction and for the last 14 years been employed at the US Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids. He enjoyed photography, playing cards, hunting and fishing. He is survived by 8 children: James (Tara) Griffin of Marion, Bobby Brown of Springfield, Missouri, John Griffin of Cedar Rapids, Nicole (John) Seeman of Harper, Iowa, Candi (Ben) Hegenbart of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Nicholas (Tricia) Griffin of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Jacob Griffin of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Jacqualine Griffin of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Mother: C. Nadine Sedam of West Liberty, two sisters: Crystal Griffin of Muscatine and Charlotte (Craig) Juergens of West Liberty. 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his father, step father and a brother.
