L. James Park, 93, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Simpson Memorial Home in West Liberty.
Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. Visitation will be held 12:30 until 2 P.M. (service time) at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, West Liberty. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.hendersonbarkerfuneralhome.com.
Lyle James Park was born September 6, 1922 near West Liberty the son of Clyde F. and Viola Mills Park. He farmed the family farm his entire life. He enjoyed hunting small game, fishing, playing shuffleboard, horseshoes and pool.
Survivors include one brother Floyd Park of Muscatine. Nephew David Park of Muscatine and niece Penny (Albert) Polina of Davenport. Great niece Alisa (Tim) Phillips of Muscatine, Great nephews Nate Park of Muscatine, Tony Polina of Muscatine and Joe Polina of Coralville. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Gladys Kemp.
