Delmar, Iowa Brenda Louise Pedersen Wagner, 49, passed away Tuesday September 29, 2015 at Genesis West Medical Center in Davenport. Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M., Monday, October 5, 2015 at Bethany Lutheran Church in West Branch. Burial will be in the West Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 6 P.M. at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.hendersonbarkerfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested. Brenda was born July 8, 1966 in Iowa City the daughter of Duane and Joyce Hagstrand Pedersen. She was a graduate of West Liberty High School in the Class of 1984 and later Kirkwood Community College with an A.A. in Early Childhood Education. She had been employed with Mississippi Valley Surgery Center in Davenport as a Patient Care Tech for many years and also was co-owner of Wagner Auctions. On November 1, 2008 Brenda was united in marriage to Ken Wagner in West Branch. She a very giving person, always ready to help if there was a need and touched many lives. She enjoyed her large group of friends and socializing. Was very active in the Delmar community; working with the Development and Depot. Brenda was an active donor to the Children’s Miracle Network. Survivors include her husband Ken of Delmar, daughter Elizabeth Schlangen Wagner, brothers: Kent (Andrea) Pedersen of West Branch and Kirk (Jill) Pedersen of Warrensburg, Missouri, three nieces and nephews Jodi, J.D. and Amber. She was preceded in death by her parents.
