West Branch, Iowa Jeanette M. (VanTieghem) Flores, 85, of West Branch passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015 from 5 to 7 PM at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 14 at 10:30 AM at Bethany Lutheran Church in West Branch. Inurnment will be held at a later date at St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Moline, Illinois. Jeanette Mary Flores was born on October 27, 1929 to Frank and Elsie (VanLandagem) VanTieghem in Moline, Illinois. She worked as a material expeditor at the Rock Island Arsenal for many years. Jeanette enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Paula (Curt) Casper of West Branch; Joseph (Barb) Kimpe of Bettendorf; Victoria Kimpe of Iowa City; and Robert Kimpe of Moline, IL; 24 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and expecting 2 great grandchildren. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard VanTieghem.
