Linda Joy Jensen of Iowa City passed away on February 5, 2015.
Linda was born December 2, 1939 in Jefferson City, MO to Elsie and Robert P. Turner. She was a 1958 graduate of West Branch High School.
Linda is survived by her husband, Steve Jensen, her 4 children, Jeri (Tom) Freeman, Scott (Mary Jo) Poulson-Small, Doug (Guylia) Small and Tobi (Kole) Billick, her brother, Robert L. (Jan) Turner, and many dearly loved grandchildren (16) and great-grandchildren (10).
Linda was incredibly devoted to her family and her pets. Linda was also passionate about many other things in life. She was an avid reader of the books in her extensive library, loved to travel, was a fervent collector of antique furniture, glassware and cookie jars, and was an advocate for animals and animal rights.
A celebration of her life will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home, 201 Pedersen Street, West Branch, IA. Please honor Linda by visiting www.iowadonornetwork.org and registering as an organ donor.
