Letts, Iowa Alice Weise, 93, of Letts, Iowa went to be with the Lord on December 01, 2009 at the Lutheran Home in Muscatine. Graveside services will be held 2 P.M. Thursday December 3, 2009 at North Prairie Cemetery, rural West Liberty. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Unit at Lutheran Homes. Alice was born on Aug. 17, 1916 by West Liberty Iowa, the daughter of Marvin and Viola Lehman Morrison. She was a graduate of West Liberty High School in the class of 1934. Alice was united in marriage to Joe Weise Feb. 18, 1937, he died in 1994. Alice was an avid reader and gardener and her love was her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by two daughters, Betty Norman of DeRidder, Louisiana and Kitty Steele (Jim) of Letts; 6 grandchildren, Sharon Norman, Sandy Norman, Bruce Norman, Beth Hinrichs, Jeff Steele and Terri Cousins and 15 great grandchildren; four brothers, Amos Morrison, Harold Morrison, Raymond Morrison, Lewis Morrison; four sisters, Ruth Howard, Leota Shaw; June Olds, Elsie Powers and a special friend, Delores Lamp. She was preceded in death by her husband, infant daughter, parents, two grandsons; four brothers, Roy Morrison, Albert Morrison, Bill Morrison, Floyd Morrison; two sisters, Darlene Morrison and Violet Morrison.
