Dear Gerrie and Family, I am writing on behalf of my Mom, Mary McCarthy. I read her the news of your Onie. She sends her sympathy and love. I am with my Mom now as she had surgery for lung cancer and is having a rough time. Mom said to tell you that she has so appreciated your friendship over the decades. How you made those days in Alaska so memorable. Your cards were always so fun to read and we all heard stories of the Kaalbergs!
