West Liberty, Iowa Gregoria E. Rocha, age 82, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Monday December 29, 2014. Funeral service will be held 10 A.M. Thursday, January 1, 2015 at the Independent Pentecostal Christian Church in West Liberty. Burial will be held in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, West Liberty. Arrangements coordinated by the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. Gregoria was born November 17, 1932 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico the daughter of Rosalio and Socorro (Benavidez) Esparza. She was married to Lorenzo Rocha Ortiz on September 24, 1949 in Durango, Mexico. She retired from Louis Rich Foods in West Liberty after 19 years of service. Survivors include 3 sons: Isidro (Jeanne Fuller) Rocha, Lorenzo (Enedelia) Rocha and Juan Jose Rocha; three daughters: Evangelina (Jose Luis) Garcia, Maribel (Angel) Montelongo and Isabel (James) Rocha-Hall; 27 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; 4 sisters and 3 brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lorenzo Rocha Ortiz, daughters Ana Maria Shryock and Maria Marcela Ramos, son Pilar and 10 siblings. Her laughter and love will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
