Eugene Stewart Moore, 78, formerly of West Branch died Thursday November 5, 2009 at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown.
Visitation will be held 2 to 5 P.M. Sunday November 8, 2009 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. Family burial will in Memory Garden Cemetery, Iowa City.
Eugene was born March 29, 1931 in Iowa City the son of Robert Lee and Jeannette Mae Dykstra Moore.
He most recently had been employed with Chuck Smith Auto Body in Iowa City.
He was a veteran US Army serving in the Military Police during the Korean Conflict and a member of the VFW.
Survivors include one son: Fred (Diana) Moore of West Branch. Brother: Vance (Susan) Moore of Iowa City. Two grandchildren: Gary and Cheyenne and one great grandson Gage.
