Marshalltown, Iowa Ronald E. Williams, 82, died Sunday November 2, 2014 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Iowa City, Iowa. He had been a resident of the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown for several years. Memorial services with military honors will be held 2:15 P.M. Monday, November 10, 2014 at the Iowa Veterans Home Chapel in Marshalltown. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.hendersonbarkerfuneralhome.com. Ronald was born June 1, 1932 in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin the son of Charles A. and Ruby B. Cross Williams. He attended South Milwaukee High School. In June of 1949 he entered the US Navy where he served until 1959. He enjoyed singing, computers and electronics. Survivors include three children, daughter Darlene Pederson, one son and daughter Tania Williams. Grandchildren: Cory Pederson, Travis Pederson, Chelsey Williams, Lindsey Williams, Jeramey Meador, Torrey Williams and Aimmey Williams. Two sisters Dorothy Dixon and Sonia “Sonie” McFadden also survive.
