Karen was a classmate of ours in Clarence. Karen was very timid when she started school in 1ST Grade. Did she ever tell you that she would run home from school during recess? I played on the basketball team with Karen when we went to the state tournament 3 years in a row. Going to Des Moines, staying in a hotel, and walking to a restaurant were also new and fun experiences for small town girls. Then we always enjoyed catching up at our class reunions. She always had a smile on her face.

I knew of Karen, along time, but I lived in Cedar Rapids and didn’t really know her until all of us cousins were getting together these last couple of years. I got to know her better and she was a fun lady and I just instantly loved her. I hated to hear of her passing but know she’s in a better place with other family who were waiting for her. She will always be in your hearts Marvin and kids and she would want you to remember she loved you all

My husband and I are shocked and saddened that Karen Brick has suddenly passed away. We thought she was a warm and lovely lady. Q: How would you describe Karen to someone who had never met them?
A: I worked with Karen for numerous years. I always loved her and looked forward to see her and her beautiful smile and wonderful laugh. She always looked like a million bucks and was such a wonderful lady.
She made work fun even though she worked very hard. I will miss seeing her around WB. To the Brick family, I am so sorry for your loss. She was the best. May your tears bring back wonderful memories and may the good Lord wrap his arms around all of you and make the pain a little easier to live without her.
