I met Jeff at William Penn. We had been friends since that first day. We had been out of touch for years until on a whim, I found his number and called him while I was vacationing in Yosemite. We spoke for quite a while. During our conversation he told me about his medical problem. Well, the latest medical problem. He was at ease with it. Jeff spoke at length about his daughters. Funny thing was I'd been living in Bakersfield. His uncle and my father-in-law knew/know each other from the country club. Golf. Made the world just that much smaller. I have many memories or Jeff. Most recently at a football game in Osky. I miss my friend. Jeff was easy to like. Had a quick wit and laughed easily. I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sorry for all of our loss. He was a treasure. L. J. I saw Jeff at Aunt Pauline's house while they were fixing to move her to the care facility. He was a Huge love of her life and she always told us kids how he was doing in the hospital times. I am sure that his sweet mother and grandmother met him at his time. Sending love to cousin Bobby Joe, as well as his girls. May the Lord wrap you in comfort. Rest peacefully, dear Jeff.

Jeff and I worked together in sales many years ago now at Con-Way in the Chicago area. I can happily say that these were some of the most fun and funniest days of my career. We called Jeff ‘Spud’ Webb because of his awe inspiring vertical jump which we never officially measured but estimated it was at least 4 feet (provided he was jumping OFF a loading dock to the ground below). To know him was to love him. I often joked with him that he was like the little brother I never…wanted. He’d pretend to complain a bit that I wounded his ego and then give me that infectious little laugh of his to assure me he knew better. He was one in a million. If I had but one word to describe him it was HEART. Jeff had tremendous heart and he shared it with all who were lucky enough to know him - especially his family whom he loved to his core. Will miss you buddy.

Condolences from the entire Ballard Family to Jaci , Jori , and Bob. I am in shock and sadness. You were one of my truest friends. We had so many great times together and laughs. It was great hanging out when we both had the girls together or hanging out at Nick’s. We had each-others back thru tough times and good times. Selfishly , I don’t want to accept this Jeff , but I know we will see each other again someday and you are in a better place. I will never forget you and I love you. RIP my brother.
