Jeff and I worked together in sales many years ago now at Con-Way in the Chicago area. I can happily say that these were some of the most fun and funniest days of my career. We called Jeff ‘Spud’ Webb because of his awe inspiring vertical jump which we never officially measured but estimated it was at least 4 feet (provided he was jumping OFF a loading dock to the ground below). To know him was to love him. I often joked with him that he was like the little brother I never…wanted. He’d pretend to complain a bit that I wounded his ego and then give me that infectious little laugh of his to assure me he knew better. He was one in a million. If I had but one word to describe him it was HEART. Jeff had tremendous heart and he shared it with all who were lucky enough to know him - especially his family whom he loved to his core. Will miss you buddy.

On behalf of the staff at the pharmacy in town, we are so grateful to have known a a guy with a big heart like Jeff's. He cheered us up and told us to make the best out of life, and made us laugh. May his family find rest and peace in this difficult time. He will be missed.

Condolences from the entire Ballard Family to Jaci , Jori , and Bob. I am in shock and sadness. You were one of my truest friends. We had so many great times together and laughs. It was great hanging out when we both had the girls together or hanging out at Nick’s. We had each-others back thru tough times and good times. Selfishly , I don’t want to accept this Jeff , but I know we will see each other again someday and you are in a better place. I will never forget you and I love you. RIP my brother.

I was so lucky to have been able to reconnect with Jeff when Jaci and Maura became competitors and friends on the golf course. Even though many years had passed since we last saw each other, it didn’t feel that way. Jeff was one of the kindest people I have ever known. He will be missed.

This is a huge loss for anyone that knows Jeff. His sarcastic-witty humor made so many people laugh.
