To the family of Marilyn - I just read about Marilyn’s passing and I offer my sincere condolences. I came to know Marilyn through the (Downey) Sew & So Club. She was such a sweet person and always so kind to me, as was Larry. They were a special couple. I hope it brings you joy to think of them reunited in Heaven.

Marilyn was one of the kindest people I've ever known. We absolutely loved spending time with her at Simpson. She always wanted everyone else to win at a game before she would, she loved to make other feel good about themselves. Always giving out compliments to others. Marilyn & Larry were great friends to us---loving friendship, TOPS, playing cards, sharing vegetables & many beautiful cards in the mail. Someone said once Marilyn would send you a Thank You card for a Thank You card you sent. She loved sending & receiving cards. She was an angel here on earth to friends & family.

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Marilyn’s passing. I will always remember staying overnight and the popcorn and koolaid party’s under the street light. Taking baths in the big tub and playing games and laughing. Aunt Marilyn was so kind and caring. Uncle Larry and Aunt Marilyn took me to McDonald’s for the first time! I remember standing on a bench outside the window at McDonalds watching them hand cut French fries! It was always a treat to stay at Uncle Larry’s and Aunt Marilyn’s!
