Obituary of Connie Sue Morrison

Connie Sue Morrison, 69, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at the Simpson Memorial Home in West Liberty.

A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the United Methodist Church in West Liberty. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Connie Morrison Memorial Fund.

Connie was born on June 8, 1955, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Melvin and Patricia (Lenker) Grim. She graduated from West Liberty High School in 1973. On March 16, 1974, she married Larry Morrison at the Nichols Christian Church.

Connie was known for making holidays special, enjoying craft shows, baking cookies, reading, watching movies and Hawkeye Football. She was a devoted wife and mother.

Survivors include her two children: Danny (Becky) Morrison of North Liberty and Tami Ford of Tipton; her sister, Diane (Steve) Snider of Muscatine; nephew Mat (Anna) Snider; and great-niece Charlotte Snider. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Larry in 2018, and her son-in-law Tad in 2021.
