Valerie Sue Johnson, 62, of Muscatine passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Premier Estates in Muscatine.

Private family services will be held.

Valerie was born August 10, 1961 the daughter of Calvin Lee and Norma Lee (Moneymaker) Flater. She was a graduate of West Liberty High School. She enjoyed watching movies and doing word search games.

She is survived by two children: Jordan Paul Johnson and his significant other Kane Fulton and Alexis Lee Johnson, mother Norma Flater all of Muscatine. One brother: Jim (Michele) Flater of Davenport, nieces: Kylie and Marissa and one great nephew Jake. She was preceded in death by an infant son Joshua and her father Calvin.
