Obituary of Dan Dean

West Liberty, Iowa

Danny “Dan” Lee Dean, 74, entered into his eternal rest on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.

Danny was born April 6, 1950 in Lancaster, Missouri, the son of Charles Dean and Helen (Gooden) Sorensen. He was a graduate of City High School in Iowa City in 1968. Danny proudly served in the United States Navy in Vietnam. On July 24, 1971 he was united in marriage to the love of his life,  Jacqueline Lee O’Donnell in Iowa City.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jackie of West Liberty, one daughter: Angie Brunner, and her husband Corey, whom Danny considered his son, and his two cherished granddaughters,  Brielle and Brynlea.

Danny reunites with his many loved ones in Heaven, whom he greatly missed.
