Pete was a classmate of my brother. His brother Tom was my classmate. Tom had informed us in July of Pete's illness. It was nice that Tom was able to get back for a visit.

I worked with Pete when we were both at Hartwig Mtrs.He always hustled to do the best for his customers and to get along with the guys in the shop. I left for North Carolina in 1980 but I still remember Pete Koenig.

I am very saddened to learn of Pete's passing. I have wonderful memories of working with him and especially appreciate his willingness to teach me the ropes when I was just starting out. He was a terrific guy and a good friend.

Like many of his classmates from high school in Davenport, we have fond and funny memories of Pete... many actually. We had hoped to see him more often at the reunions every 5 year, but only on occasion. I am sure he will be missed by his kids and grand kids.. We all will miss his fun and sense of humor.

Pete has been missed since his retirement. I know he will be missed by all of his family. I always enjoyed looking at the latest photos -what a great family. We know he is in a great place now with no pain, my thoughts and prayers are with all of his family.

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Pete. I didn't know him well but, way back when he sold us a car and later I met him here, at the College of Dentistry. He always had a smile and seemed to be a great guy. My sympathy and prayers for your family.

Thinking of all of the family members of Pete Koenig at this sad time. Pete was such a fine guy, a wonderfully devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He also was a caring man towards his extended family and friends. I have some very fond memories of him from the times we played in a card club together. He will be greatly missed by so many. I hope that the family will be able to hold cherished memories to help through this very difficult time. Prayers and sympathy being sent to all of you.
