Obituary of Stuart Howell

Stuart Howell, 80, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024. 

He was born, March 9, 1944, in Iowa City, IA the son of Don and Hope (Hunt) Howell.

Stuart served in the US Army and was honorably discharged.  Prior to retirement he was associated with Orscheln as a Quality Control Inspector.

He was an avid Civil War enthusiast, and was a member of the Mason Masonic Lodge

Stuart was preceded in death by his parents, a brother  Stephen Howell and a sister Melanie Howell.

Stuart is survived by a brother David Howell of Moberly, niece, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held 12:30 until 1:20 P.M. at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home, West Liberty with a graveside service to follow honoring and celebrating Stuart’s life will be held Friday, May 24, 2024, 1:30 pm. Oak Rdge Cemetery,  West Liberty, IA.
