Well we always helped each other out whether peeling oranges potatoes or cleaning the fruit. But one time I thought I would help her clean some rhubarb before she came in and I got it all cleaned and so I went ahead and put it on the stove and started cooking it. But what I didn’t know is that you don’t add water to it and boy she was mad. Because she was going to make rhubarb pie. Lol anyway we saved it and put it with apple sauce. She will be deeply missed. She taught me several things. She was kind of my right hand man little cranky times, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. So fly high, Marilyn and God bless.

Marilyn was such a generous loving person. Ron and I enjoyed her so much at Eastern Star meetings. She was always ready with a funny comeback. She loved making quilts for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
