I worked with Mike for many years at Owens. He took work very seriously and with great pride. Learned a lot from him and appreciated it. He was a little hard to get along with but I considered him my friend and I think he considered me his. RIP
I went to school in Atalissa. Have many memories of him and his brothers and sister. He was a grade behind me in school. He was also a cousin thru our Mother's family.
Mike was a classmate and a friend. He was also a buddy from Atalissa. He and I along with several other local farm kids spent many teenage times together doing goofy stuff. I have many fond memories of Mike and our Atalissa “gang.”
Mike was a special part of my life. His birthday was just one week ahead of mine. We went through school together and graduated from West Liberty in 1959. May he rest in peace.
