Marcia L. McDonald, 81, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

No services are planned. 

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Marcia McDonald Memorial Fund.

Marcia was born March 30, 1942 in Belle Plaine, Iowa the daughter of Elmer and Kathleen (Squires) Rusk. She attended Belle Plaine High School. For several years she was employed with the West Branch School System and later at Crestview Specialty Care Center in West Branch for the last 21 years.

She enjoyed shopping with her friends, traveling and her English Bulldogs.

She is survived by 6 children: Douglas Busher of West Branch, Christine (John) Ekin of Davenport, Richard (Danielle) Busher of Wilton, Joseph Busher of Chicago, Illinois, Curtis (Salina) Uthe of Iowa City and Gina Uthe of North Liberty. Ten grandchildren: Dustin, Shantel, Ashley, Megan, Timka, Ayden, Shayla, Danica, Riley and Alicia as well as 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Bradley Busher, three siblings: Carol, Karen and Lyle.
