About 20 years ago we were leaving Best Buy with a new TV… but it wouldn’t fit in our car. Ken was parked close to us and saw our struggle and asked where we lived. We told him West Liberty and he said he would haul it for us. We felt bad having him go out of his way but he assured us it was on his way home. He was so genuine that we trusted him. He didn’t know us but it turned out he knew our family. What a generous soul.

I would like to add that Ken was also predeceased by his Uncle Verland Wayne Olsen and Aunt Mary Olsen of West Liberty and is survived by their children, his cousins, Carol Olsen Campbell, Patricia Tharp, David Olsen and Susan McMahon. I will miss my cousin, Ken, very much and my heart goes out to Kevin, Chad and all the grandchildren and many friends.

Linda and I were so sad to hear of Ken's passing. He was a good friend and if you had time to sit and talk to him you could learn a lot. It never failed on many nights at the WLCC I would be ready to go home and in walked Kenny about 10:00 pm so that would take another hour to catch up. We also spent several days each year, since about 2014, traveling to Linda and Ken's Sun City, Az home to spend two or three days with them before heading south to Oro Valley, Az. I would help Linda work on her puzzles that she had on the kitchen table and Linda would talk to Ken about finances. Then in the evening, we would play an assortment of games, sometimes with other West Liberty friends who were also in Phoenix for the winter. Our sympathy to Kevin and Chad, who I coached in football, and all of Ken's grandchildren. He was a great community leader and will be greatly missed by all. Rest in Peace, Dennis and Linda Riley Oro Valley, Az
