Ruby L. Franke, 90, passed away, Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the Crestview Specialty Care Center in West Branch.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home, West Branch. .

Memorials may be made to: American Cancer Society.

Ruby was born November 4, 1933 in Farmington, Iowa the daughter of Glenn and Nellie (Wilson) Lowery. She was a graduate of City High School in Iowa City. For 17 years Ruby had worked for the Darling Company in Tucson, Arizona and later at West Branch Daycare Center. She enjoyed playing BINGO at Crestview.

She is survived by two children: Fritzi (Doug) Dillon and Rick (Dianna) Franke all of Tucson, Arizona. Two grandsons: Chad (Jocelyn) Franke and Travis (Ally) Franke, two great grandchildren: Lucy and Lincoln. Siblings: Sarah (Raymond) Downing of Des Moines and Leroy (Patricia) Lowery living in Oregon.  She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Mina and Betty and a brother: Lonnie.
