James Dale Hudson, 70, passed away at his home Monday, September 11, 2023.

A family interment will be held in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, West Liberty. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is caring for Jim and his family.

James Dale Hudson was born October 7, 1952 at Danville, Illinois the son of Robert and Mary (Patterson) Hudson. He was a graduate of West Liberty High School in the class of 1971. Jim worked for Oroweat Bakery in California and Florida before returning to Iowa and working at Louis  Rich and Millard Warehouse. He was a big sports fan; he especially enjoyed the Iowa Hawkeyes and San Francisco 49’ers.

He is survived by three siblings: Sherry (Cheryl) Grable of Solon, Terry Hudson of Davie, Florida and Robert J. Hudson of Fairfax. He was preceded in death by his parents.
