Ray A. Bozarth, 81, passed away March 22, 2023 at Drs. Regional Medical Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.

A celebration of life gathering will be held Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 1 to 4 P.M. at Little Bear Campground Pavillion, 1961 Garfield Ave, West Liberty, IA 52776. Private Family services will be held.

Ray was born December 2, 1941 the son of Virgil and Lois (Wilson) Bozarth. He was a graduate of West Liberty High School in the class of  1960.

He proudly served in the United States Army Reserve from 1960 to 1968. On June 2, 1962 he was united in marriage to Myrna Kay Schauf. Ray had farmed and was a truck driver for many years working with Louis Rich Foods and Hoovestol.

He enjoyed camping, collecting 50’s memorabilia, attending and showing in car show and watching football; especially the Iowa Hawkeyes.

He is survived by his wife: Myrna, two children: Lisa (Jeff) Anthony of LeClaire,IA, Randy (Robin) Bozarth of Pelham, AL, five grandchildren: Justin (Katie) Bozarth  Casey Humbert, Lindsey (Martin) Allbee  Larissa Penderson  Landon Reid and three great Grandchildren: Dalton, Kennedy, Rebecca. Sister in laws: Mary (Jerry) VanDyke,  Sandy (Rodney) Paul as well as step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grand parents Alex and Zella Wilson, Mother and father in law: Wilbur and Velda Schauf, brothers in law: Larry, Bill, Ed and Dennis Schauf, sisters in law: Shirley Debler and Lori Schauf
