Dear family, Having the opportunity to help take care of Bennie at The Cookson Memorial Home for 1 1/2 years was a pleasure. Bennie and I clicked. She was stubborn but she was full of love. She showed how much she cared for you by being stubborn sometimes, that's what I loved about Bennie. She had a really good sense of humor. Anna my 11 year old would go see Bennie and she would never leave her room without having something Bennie gave her. Anna also loved Bennie's personality. After Cookson closed, and Bennie moved it was to hard to go and see her. I like to remember her the way she left. And the same for today. Im sure Bennie was ready to be with the Lord, and she left many lives touched that Im sure she wasn't aware of. May God Bless and be with the family during their mourning. Shelley Port
