West Liberty, Iowa Eileen M. Waller, 84, died Thursday July 18, 2013 at Mercy Hospice in Iowa City. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday July 20, 2013 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in West Liberty with Rev. Lynn Thiede officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, West Liberty. Visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 8:00 P.M. at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. A memorial fund has been established. Eileen was born February 24, 1929 in West Liberty the daughter of Clark and Edna Stoelk Stratton. She was a graduate of West Liberty High School in the Class of 1946. On July 3, 1948 she was united in marriage to John Waller in Wilton. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Survivors include her two daughters: Peggy (Dan) McElderry of Tipton, Iowa and Joyce (Larry) Stacy of Stewartville, Minnesota. Son: Darrin (Michelle) Waller of Clarion, Iowa. 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two sisters: Wanita (Bob) Lehman and Joan Thurness both of West Liberty, 2 brothers: Lyndon Stratton living in Florida and Lester (Linda) Stratton of Coralville, Iowa. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband John.
