Donna Mae Jenks, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at the Simpson Memorial Home in West Liberty.
Family graveside services will be held at a later date in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, West Liberty. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made to the family at hendersonbarkerfuneralhome.com.
Donna was born March 9, 1931 the daughter of Rudolph and Margaret Villhauer Vogel in Iowa City. She was united in marriage to Don Jenks, they were married for 65 years. She and Don farmed in the West Liberty area their entire life.
She is survived by four children: Lyle (Patty) Jenks of Riverside, Leonard (Robin) Jenks of West Liberty, Lucille (John “Jack”) Karsten of Pardeeville, Wisconsin and Don Jenks of Hills. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald in 2014, a daughter Lynette Broden, daughter-in-law Helen Jenks and three sisters: Virginia, Luetta and Wilma.
