Leo Eugene Schaapveld, 65, of Grove, Oklahoma formerly of Nichols passed away at his home in Grove, OK.
The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home, West Liberty is in charge of arrangements. Family graveside services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in his name and forwarded to Henderson-Barker Funeral Home, PO Box 46, West Liberty, Iowa 52776.
Leo was born December 13, 1952 the son of Edward and Genevieve (Beach) Schaapveld.
Survived by: Daughter: Jamie (Kevin) Franklin of West Branch, IA, sisters: Sandra (Stuart) Schmitt of Mt. Ida, AR, Linda (Roger) Wieskamp of Iowa City, IA and Bea Hilsenhoff of Mahomet, IL, as well as several nieces and nephews.
