Carla T. Dunnahoo, 85, went to meet the Lord on December 16, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Wilton Baptist Church from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M., with funeral services immediately following at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in North Prairie Cemetery, West Liberty.

In lieu of flowers, a memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or American Cancer Society. 

Carla was born November 5, 1940, the daughter of Carl and Gladys Lucille (Koch) Jensen. Following the death of her father, Gladys later married John Hillyer, together they raised their 12 children.

She was a 1957 graduate of Nichols High School. On October 9, 1959, she was united in marriage to Ronald Dunnahoo in Muscatine.

Carla was a member of the Wilton Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing BINGO and going to garage sales, but most important to her was her family.

Survivors include her two daughters, Tammy (Keith) McDonald of West Liberty and Tina (Brian) McNamara of Wilton; one son, Rick (Brenda) Dunnahoo of Iowa City; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Kathryn Simpson of Independence, Missouri, and Shirley Hillyer of Tipton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ron; her daughter, Cindy; and ten brothers and sisters.
