My dear friend, I just discovered you have moved on from this world. I am having a hard time acknowledging the truth of this.
I am going to miss you. We have been friends since high school, and I hate that a snowstorm stopped us from hugging each other last year when I was traveling in the area. Thank you for always being there, and for being such a role model for the world.
For those of us left behind, I offer this prayer.
Great Spirit, I honor you and call upon your presence and the great ancestors to be with Mike's beloved family and friends. I call upon Sacred Fire to share with us its longevity and hope. I call upon Air and Wind to share cool breezes and whispers of restful dreams in slumber. I call upon Water to share its cleansing power to wash away our moments of despair. I call upon Earth to share its roots for growth and strength, so we may feel peace and be whole again. And so it is.

My sincere condolences to "Dutch" and the rest of the family. Mike was always kind to me, even though I was a troublemaker when I was younger, and I will never forget that. He was a great man. I wish he could see me now. R.I.P. Mike.
