Obituary of Zachary John Hutchinson

Zachary John Hutchinson, age 36, of Clarence, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident near Springdale.

Zachary was born on April 5, 1989, in Manchester, Iowa, the son of Dan Allsup and Teresa Hutchinson. He had been employed with Animal Health Services in Manchester, Todd’s Specialty Rigging, and most recently, Pyramid Services in Iowa City.

Zach had a love for nature. He enjoyed off-roading in the custom vehicles he built, hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting. He had a talent for working on all kinds of engines and took joy in crafting metal figurines.

He is survived by his mother, Teresa Hutchinson of Clarence; his father, Dan Allsup of Wadena; brothers, Wayne Fink of Cedar Rapids and Seth Livezey of Dubuque; his soulmate, Makayla Casper of West Branch; and his maternal grandmother, Georgia Hutchinson of Greeley.

A celebration of life visitation will be held 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday April 15, 2025at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch where a brief prayer service will be held at 7:00 at the conclusion of visitation.
