Obituary of James R. Fulcher

     James "Jim" R. Fulcher, 71 of Nichols, IA passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the VA Hospital in Iowa City.

     Jim was born in Cincinnati, OH on June 13, 1946 the son of Ernie and Evelyn (Pollett) Fulcher.

     He graduated from Cincinnati High School.   He proudly served his country in the United States Army. 

     He married Nancy (Holmes) Lee on August 25, 1979 in Boone County, Kentucky.

     Jim worked for the Muscatine County Sheriff's Office  for many years reaching the rank of Detective.

     A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 1-3 PM at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. 

     A memorial graveside service with military honors, will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 2 PM at the Nichols Cemetery in Nichols.   

     Jim is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife Nancy of Nichols, his step-son Tom (Maggie) Lee of Eddyville, his son Edward Fulcher and his daughter Kristie Warner of Kentucky, his grandchildren, his sister Joyce Ferns of Canfield, OH as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

    He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers David and Robert Fulcher.

    A memorial has been established in his memory.
