West Branch, Iowa Emma E. Shultz, 91, died Wednesday February 25, 2009 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. Visitation will be held Sunday March 1, 2009 from 4 to 7 P.M. where a time of sharing will be held at 7:00 P.M. at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday March 4, 2009 at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury, Nebraska with burial in the Fairbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established. Emma was born November 30, 1917 in Fairbury, Nebraska the daughter of Stephen A. and Letha Riggle Glasscock. On September 15, 1945 she was united in marriage to Ernest G. Shultz in Fairbury, NE. She is survived by 4 sons: Edward Shultz of Mt. Vernon, Eric (Cindy) Shultz of Iowa City, Erin (Gerda) Shultz of Dordrecht, The Netherlands and Ellis (Cathy) Shultz of West Branch. One daughter: Eileen (Michael) Timmermans of Vinton. 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Three Brothers: Albert (Inez) Glasscock of Syracuse, Kansas, Stephen (Peg) Glasscock of Wichita, Kansas and Robert Glasscock of Fairbury, Nebraska. Two sisters: Alice Westerhoff of Haysville, Kansas and June Stapaules of Hollenburg, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Ernest Jr., grandson Nicholas, two brothers Lewis and George, and two sisters Thelma and Theresa and an infant sister.
