West Branch, Iowa Rita Roberta Lovell, 79, died Friday January 16, 2009 at the Crestview Care and Rehab Center in West Branch following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held 10 A.M. Thursday January 22, 2009 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rochester Cemetery. Rita was born August 26, 1929 in Lisbon the daughter of Ralph and Celestine Werthman Williams. She was a graduate of Lisbon High School. On May 18, 1948 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Lovell, they later divorced in 1976. Survivors include Two sons: Bruce Lovell of Gun Barrel City, Texas and Dennis Lovell of West Branch. One daughter: Jeanette (Eric) Sletten of Scottsdale, Arizona. One brother: John Williams living in Greece. 4 Grandchildren: Jaime (Jake) Smith, Amy Lovell, Christa (Brian) Avise and Andy (Naomi) Lovell. 5 Great Grandchildren: Brock, Angela, Levi, Odin and Tori. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Kevin, 3 brothers: Nicholas, Samuel and Ralph, Sister: Catherine as well as a special friend Joe Ruzek.
