West Branch, Iowa Henrietta "Henri" Furchtenicht, 60, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at Mercy Hospice in Iowa City. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 10 until 12 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. A celebration of life and continued sharing will be held at Craig and Henri's home following the time at the funeral home. Henrietta was born October 9, 1955 at Jellico, Tennessee the daughter of Boyd Clyde and Nellie (Bowlin) McCullah. On September 1, 2007 she was united in marriage to Craig Furchtenicht at their home. Henri was employed with Oral B in Iowa City for 25 years, she enjoyed the outdoors, sitting on her porch and being around people. Survivors include her husband Craig Furchtenicht of West Branch, son Anthony (Sandra) Hill of Onieda, TN, mother Nellie McCullah of Williamsburg, KY, brother R.L. (Jewelene) McCullah of Williamsburg, KY, sisters Ella "Betsy" Couture of Sylvania, OH, Goldie Blakley of Williamsburg, KY, Birdie McCullah of Williamsburg, KY, Joyce (Gilbert) Huddleston of Williamsburg, KY, Evelyn (Phil) McCullah-Brennenstuhl of Williamsburg, KY and Gail (David) Buck of Williamsburg, KY. A special niece Pat Rose (Jim) Thompson of Toledo, OH. Numerous grandchildren , great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her father, sisters Rose Edith Paul, Carol Thrasher and brother Jack McCullah.
